How change is made
How?

Big change gets made by people, in small local groups, working towards a common goal.

The problem

You already have motivated supporters, everyday people who want to do more.

But giving them real work feels unmanageable.

And the full weight of movements to change society falls on the shoulders of a small under-resourced staff.

eCoaches

The organizing platform built to cultivate, facilitate, & coach local leaders.

Creation

We liberate the power for people to create. And support them to create for people power.

Everything they need to start and run their small groups: posters, stickers, a meeting, fundraising, planning an event on their own block.
24-hour support and advice for how to lead a group to take political action.

Alignment

They stay on strategy & aligned because your organization and campaign’s voice and guardrails are built in. They add their local insight, vision and creativity.

What used to belong to staff

Staff easily support, communicate, and monitor group growth, health, and activities. Groups become partners in your mission. As trust grows, the weight of work moves to communities who care.

Everybody wins when supporters can be trusted to act.

Every level of our politics learned to buy safety by taking real political work out of people's hands. The sum of all that safety is the democratic crisis we are living. We make handing it back safer than holding it.

FAQ

Who is this for?

Organizations and campaigns fighting for social, political, and environmental justice, and the everyday people who want to lead local groups in that fight.

The platform is built for both those who already have established distributed organizing groups and those who want to create them, with separate dashboards for organizational staff, group leaders, and their members.

Currently open to pilots in our beta phase in the US. Learn more and signup for the non-US waitlist.

What does this look like for a group leader?

Say Maria signed your petition two years ago and hasn’t heard from you since. She comes to an event, and someone on your team points her to your organization’s Organizing Center, set up with your strategy, your framing, and your issues. It walks her through who you are and what you’re fighting for, then gives her a first task sized to someone who has never done this. When she’s ready to bring a few neighbors together, it helps her write the invite in her own words, with her own reasons, in line with your strategy. On your side of the platform your staff can see how she’s doing and decide when to hand her more. She ends up running a group that meets on its own and brings in people you never had contact with. Over time the relationships between them become power, and power is what wins.

What if we don’t have distributed groups or ours aren’t well defined?

You don’t need existing group infrastructure to start. Most organizations have already been in contact with people who would do more: someone who showed up once and never got asked again, someone who said yes and never heard back. Your list is not data, it’s a set of relationships nobody has had time to develop. That’s the work we help you do, and where structured local groups come from.

Will this replace our staff or our comms team?

No. Those of us working for big change have always had too few people for the task. The Organizing Center brings more people to the table so your staff aren’t carrying it alone. Our rule is elevation over automation: staff spend their time on strategy, relationships, and the judgment calls that keep things moving. Humans, especially the ones who hold vision and lead, can never be replaced.

Who is behind this?

The Organizing Center is a new product, built by the team at Tectonica, who have spent fourteen years building organizing infrastructure and campaign strategy for progressive movements around the world. It comes out of the experience and learnings from hundreds of campaigns. We’re not a tech company that added progressive branding afterward. Every technology we choose, build, and apply is a political decision, and we treat it as one. Read about our approach to technology and ethics.

You use LLMs. How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?

The Organizing Center is an organizing tool that uses LLMs, not an LLM with organizing features bolted on. The language layer runs on Change Agent, a platform built for causes and campaigns rather than adapted from a corporate product. That matters in a practical way: the terms of service of every major commercial AI platform restrict political content. Change Agent’s do not. Your core work is what it exists for, not a violation to be flagged.

On top of that sit two layers generic tools don’t have. The Movement Intelligence Layer holds fourteen years of progressive organizing methodology, built from 600+ campaigns across 40 countries. The Custom Layer holds your strategy, your brand, your messaging and your guardrails. Ask ChatGPT for a fundraising email and it writes one at you. The Organizing Center helps a group leader write theirs, in their words, in line with your strategy.

It also puts tools in reach that used to belong to full-time staff. Managing a list of people, tracking who is doing what, planning a campaign. Work that took years of experience to do well is now something a volunteer can do. Read our full approach to new technologies and ethics.

What about data privacy, AI ethics, and the environment?

Using AI in organizing means being as deliberate about how it’s used as about what it can do. Your data is never sold or shared, and you can delete it at will. We set out exactly what happens to it on our ethics page rather than asking you to take it on trust.

On the environment: the underlying LLM is efficient enough that 250 users consume roughly the energy of a domestic refrigerator, and our image layer runs on a lower-carbon EU grid under binding efficiency law. We acknowledge that reduces a footprint. It doesn’t eliminate one.

How much does it cost?

The Organizing Center is priced per group. You can also set a fundraising goal for each group so it covers its own cost, which means the program doesn’t have to come out of your budget. We’re in beta, running a limited set of pilots with founding partner organizations. Talk to us about a pilot.
